I was in Tucson this past Sunday at the Tucson Gem Show. The day we went it was blistery and raining! It was funny because it hardly rains Arizona, so this was a bit of a bummer, but we went anyways! This show is the biggest international show of the year. There are people from all over the world who sell so many different crystals and other things for the show. This show is so big that it lasts for 2 weeks and it is spread all over the town. There are pop up tents, hotels and big convention centers that hold everyone for the show. So, what do they carry? Well, you can buy anything from tiny small gem stones, to big massive crystals and everything in between. My friends and I were there for several hours, finding all different things that we needed. I bought several crystals which included: Herkimer diamonds, labradorite, black tourmaline, selenite, rose quartz, fluorite, quartz, lapis lazuli and septarian. I also purchased strands of citrine, black tourmaline, turquoise and lapis lazuli. Then a few other finds which included: tiny gem stones for necklaces, sage, cords and bulbs for my Himalayan salt lamp. The show has so many wonderful things for everyone! If you live in Arizona and have a bit of time to spare, check out the gem show! The show lasts another week and ends on February 17. Trust me, go and see what it is all about, you won’t regret it!
