Chakras are part of our energy bodies which help us to be more balanced. The word chakra means “wheel” in Sanskrit. When your chakras are not working properly or gunked up, your energy is not flowing properly. When this happens, many times you are feeling stuck. I always tell clients this, think of your body as your engine of your car. If you don’t get your oil changed in your car, your car doesn’t work as good. This is exactly what happens to your chakras! When you clean your chakras, your body starts to function better and properly. For the root chakra, this is the first chakra, and is located near your tailbone or base of spine. The root chakra is associated with survival, grounding and instincts. When this chakra is blocked, you feel a disconnect with basic necessities such as, home, work, money and family.

Here are Some Things You can Eat or Use to Clean Your Root Chakra.

  1. Using Crystals to Heal the Chakras- Place these crystals in your pockets to bring in healing: Black Tourmaline Bloodstone, Red Carnelian, Red Jasper, Garnet and Obsidian. You can also use any red or brown crystal if you have none of these above.
  2. Using Essential Oils- Use these essential oils for healing: Cedarwood, Cypress, Sandalwood and Patchouli.
  3. Foods To Eat– Eat these foods to help heal the body: Apples, Beets, Cherries, Cranberries, Pomegranates, Red Peppers, Red Onions, Red Grapes, Red Potatoes, Strawberries, Tomatoes and Watermelon.
