We are in the sun sign of Libra (September 23 – October 22). Libra is represented by Justice (Major Arcana, #11) in the Tarot.* I associate this card with karma (what you put out into the world will be returned to you). During the time of Libra, you will likely find yourself seeking balance or experiencing karmic return. In some cases, you may find yourself working with the legal system (Lady Justice).
Libra and the Fall season typically begin with the autumnal equinox. The cold, longest night of winter haven’t yet begun begun. There’s a slight chill in the evening air, and we’re in a time of balance and bounty, or harvest. This also a time to find peace with people or situations, so you can retain your own sense of well-being.
Libras are almost always fair-minded and diplomatic. Even when they’re not, if they realize they’ve been unfair, they will try to rectify it (or ignore the issue until they have to deal with it). They despise hypocrisy in others, in rules and regulations, and in themselves. They tend to be critical, so they can effectively judge the situation; although, sometimes their criticisms are overly harsh and undue. They have a loud internal voice for self-criticism. They must learn to balance that negative mind-speak with positive affirmation.
For those born under the sign of Libra (and the card of Justice), like me, the following characterization will likely apply. Excerpted from my book “Personalities of the Tarot (A Guide to Know Thyself through Astrology and Tarot)”:
Karma
- Impartiality, equality, fairness
- Responsibility, accountability, acknowledging truth
- Balance, weighing all factors
- Karma, cause and effect
Justice is seeing the truth in all sides of a situation. The scales of life will always balance in the end. This card indicates an understanding of the duality of nature; cause and effect, as above so below, karma, etc… This card is also positively associated with the law and indicates that, while we may not agree on the outcome, justice will always be served.
If the shadow side of the card is manifest, it can show as the inability to make a decision, dishonesty or hypocrisy. You must remember to be merciful in your judgments of others (and with yourself).

My personal use of Tarot and astrological correspondence is information which resonates with me, learned over years of study.
