This year has brought about so many changes for all of us. We have all learned to do things differently than before. We have all learned what its like to wear a mask daily. We have all learned to practice social distancing and have less contact with people. We have learned to do things online versus things in person. And the list keeps going on and on. Nevertheless, even with so many changes that have occurred in our daily lives, ask yourself “what am I grateful for this year?” Here is a list of a few things that I am grateful for this year.
1. I am grateful for my friends and family who have helped me with my health this year. Without them I would have had a hard time getting through daily life with all the doctor’s appointments and surgeries.
2. I am grateful for the understanding of having balance in my life. I was working too much and was not seeing the beauty in life. This has taught me to smell the roses more and enjoy life.
3. I am grateful for this year because it has taught me to set boundaries and say “no” to people too. I realize it is okay to say “no” if it is taking away from my personal time, health, and life.
4. I am grateful to all my clients! So many of you have been sending me notes and checking on me regarding my health which has brought tears to my eyes. Also, being so understanding about working around my schedule with doctor’s appointments this year.
I am beyond blessed! Without this year I am not sure I would have learned these lessons. I am eternally grateful for them because it has changed my life. So, look at your life and ask yourself this very question, “what are you grateful for this Thanksgiving 2020? Remember, there is always something to be grateful for!
