Since we are starting this new year, many people have done new years resolutions. I know that I have done mine and I wanted to share with you an addiction that I am working on this year. My addiction is working too much! Yes, that is an addiction. Everyone has type of an addiction, but it is when we can acknowledge it, be honest and see them as such, that is half the battle on working through it. Now, for my addiction, my goal is to try and work less this year in order to have more time for myself. I always end up giving my time and support to others, so this is going to be hard for me to break this habit. Here are some of the things that I have done to combat this. I have already said “no” to somethings which I normally wouldn’t do. I also have asked the angels to help me with boundaries, so I can say “No” to others. Another thing that I have done is blocked some time off in my calendar, so I have more time for myself. I will be taking more time off to recharge my batteries, which I haven’t done in the past and I end up becoming exhausted. So far, with these things in place I am combating this! I know it’s a work in progress, but I am a few weeks into this year and so far, so good! Now I ask you, what is your addiction?
